The world has gone to shit

In my opinion of course. The world has gone to shit...or soon will be. Maybe I have been reading too much history, I'm not sure. In this time and age it's really boring. Also consider I'm only sixteen years old and haven't "explored the world's pleasures". I'm free to have an opinion though. Right now the United States are in a war with the Middle East over some oil and some other stupid reasons. Mainly oil. With President Bush organizing this, it's almost like a new Vietnam. I had another example, but I can't remember it right now. This is all important and making history to the peoples of the future of the world affairs that's going on now..it's just..boring. I'm not in politics and other fields necessary to understand all this, but the world is going to shit.

In a way I'm complaining about this, but again, I'm not. Waaay back in the day..like...a long time ago, pretty much every nation/colony/town/village/place/thing had disputes over religion and whatnot. We don't have that anymore. Well..maybe Israel and other neighbouring countries, but they don't count. What I mean is, it's not wide spread. It's not like the United States is going to war with France just because something in their bible doesn't agree with ours. It just doesn't happen. We've made a mutual agreement or something along those lines and accepted what people believed. Of course back then, they didn't. Whatever the King's religion was (usually Christian), whatever territory he owned had to be Christian. People would deal with it because they were Christian themselves or rebel..or secretly practice their religion with the risk of persecution. As I said, we don't have that. Freedom of religion bans that to happen. Maybe somewhere in the world it still goes on, but it's not..wide spread. Contridicting what I just said, it's also kinda nice to be able to practice your religion without being shot or something and not having to comply with whatever the King says.

Plus another thing is inventions and discoveries. Now is the age of technology. Sure it's great that in 20 or so years that robots will be doing shit for us. Still...I think that we need to discover something simple..like..how the earth isn't flat. You know, simple things. Back then it wasn't simple, but you get my point. Actually, I'm not all that fond of technology, so I don't really like the idea of robots doing shit for us, and flying cars, and living on the moon. The moon thing isn't technology, but just deal with it. Everything should be stopped. Except for the research on trying to find cures for things. Maybe I'm a traditionalist, I dunno, but that's my opinion. Earlier I had a very elaborate opinion, but I forgot most of it.

I like things the way it was in the past eventhough it kinda sucked. It was simple, yet hard. That's my rant for the day. Ta-ta
